MAP Raceways Yamaha rider Billy McConnell took the win in the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport race at Brands Hatch. McConnell claimed victory in the final lap after passing NW200 Coke Zero Yamaha rider Dan Linfoot. Brands Hatch BSB: Guintoli takes debut win in race 1

GSE Racing have unveiled the Airwaves Yamaha livery that they will run in the 2009 British Superbike Championship. GSE Racing begun a three-year partnership with Yamaha in 2009 to run the all new YZF-R1. MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi tested a Ferrari Formula One car at Mugello yesterday as a gift from the Italian team for achieving his eighth championship title.
