Linfoot is Hodgson's Motorpoint team-mate

Dan Linfoot will be Neil Hodgson’s team-mate in next year’s Motorpoint Yamaha team, leaving the team’s 2009 rider Chris Walker and Graeme Gowland both looking for pastures new.

Linfoot was bowled over by the thought of lining up alongside Hodgson. He said: “I said last year it was cool to be in the same team as Chris Walker now here I am in the same team as a WSB champion!

Linfoot started this season on the team’s supersport R6 – run initially in NW200 colours and later in Node 4 livery - but after breaking his foot at Snetterton, and his title chances evaporated, he was given a chance on the team’s Node 4 superbike late in the year.

Dan linfoot ONE TO WATCH next year given he gets a good package to run with, just hope he's not there to play second fiddle to hodggy , he had a good year and was allways in the mix shame he broke his foot.

have to wonder what motivation is left for walker, other than the love of racing. in an ironic twist, hodgson is now following in walker's footsteps; one final hurrah in BSB to see if he can still cut it.

Both good riders, I hope they both get seats in BSB, I would like to see Chris Walker have one year on a good chassis with a stable bike under him, possibly on a Hydrex? Or on the Kawasaki if Andrews moves on and Gowland on the Hydrex. Either would do.

Graeme Gowland did well for a first year in BSB on a bike that a good rider had trouble riding and one which Rutter didnt think was safe, I hope he gets another chance somewhere.

Dan is a good up & coming rider but I feel another learning year ahead for him. As for Hodgson, this will be one last ditch assult to either prove he has still got it or lost that needed second to become a success again. Interesting year?

Yes Walker has been undeservingly shafted again, but not by Hodgson, i'm not a fan but he is just after a ride,it's the manager who has shafted him ,i think you will find him an expert in this field
