Fantasy Road Race transfer window open until July 16. Here’s our top tips:

MotoGP
Jorge Lorenzo’s form, that has carried him to three successive wins, makes him an absolute bargain at £2.8m. The Spaniard dropped just ten points all season. Three successive top six finishes have shown that Ben Spies is finally justifying his £2.3m price tag on the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 YZR-M1.

Fourth place in Catalunya proves Frenchman Randy de Puniet is a real snip.
Podiums in Assen and Catalunya have seen Pedrosa and Stoner start living up to their valuations and with Rossi plotting an imminent comeback, who will gamble big and bring the injured Italian legend into the fold at £3m?

WSB
Three double wins in the last four races underline what a sound investment Max Biaggi was at £1.8m.

But at a bargain basement £1.3m, the smart money at the moment might just be on Aussie Troy Corser. Despite his qualifying crash and failure to start either race at Brno, the S1000RR is improving rapidly, so cash in on Corser’s resurgence while you can.

Leon Haslam’s consistency on the Suzuki makes him a safe bet at £1.8 but another option is Carlos Checa. As long as his Althea Ducati holds together then the Spaniard is always a potent threat.

BSB
The sudden and dramatic return to prominence of the HM Plant Honda squad means Josh Brookes and Ryuichi Kiyonari are well worth a look at acquiring as part of a summer spending spree.

Four successive podiums have catapulted Aussie Brookes to the summit of the championship ahead of Tommy Hill. He’s good value for money at £1.6m.
Three wins in the last four races for Japanese rider Kiyonari means he’s suddenly got himself on the radar of everybody with his current form – a tempting proposition at £1.5m.

If those two stretch your budget too far then look towards evergreen Michael Rutter, still winning races as he approaches his 38th birthday. And at £1m he’s definitely worthy of serious.

The winner of Fantasy Road Race round four has been confirmed as Wayne Bartlett. He wins a set of Bridgestone tyres worth £230.
