Relentless Suzuki rider Michael Laverty took victory in the second race at Croft BSB after a nail-biting battle with Tommy Hill in the final stages of the race.

Laverty again led from the start, with Hill getting held up behind Stuart Easton in third position. Once Hill got passed Easton it was only a matter of time until he caught Laverty.

Hill made a couple of close passes on Laverty, but the Irishman's pace on the back straight was too much for Hill in the end.

Swan Honda rider Stuart Easton again took the third step on the podium.

HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari had a better race, finishing fourth ahead of Michael Rutter, while Josh Brookes finished in eighth place.
