Ron Haslam takes competition winner for a lap of the TT on a Goldwing

Ron Haslam braved the bad weather to take a competition winner for a lap of the legendary Isle of Man circuit on a Honda Goldwing.

Yyette Bigby, had originially won a ride with Ron on a Fireblade but because of the poor weather conditions she was taken out on a Goldwing instead. After her ride Yvette said:

“It was probably too windy to be out on a Blade. The Goldwing is wonderful it’s like an armchair on the back. It’s not slow either, we hit 128mph. Ron was aiming for more but we couldn’t manage it. It felt really safe the whole time, Ron is so experienced.”
