WSB test Imola: Neukirchner confirmed with four fractured Vertebra

Max Neukirchner could be out for the remainder of the 2009 season following confirmation that he has fractured four vertebras when he crashed his Alstare Suzuki GSXR1000 this morning.

The 26 year old has fractured the L1, L2, L3 and D12 bones and has is now on his way to Germany for treatment. Neukirchner is expected to be fitted with a body cast to stabilise the bones and will require total rest for a minimum of 30 days.

There is no news regarding whether he will be replaced within the Alsater team next weekend at Brno.
