Gino is ready for Phillip Island test

Young Londoner Gino Rea is set to make his debut World Supersport race for Intermoto Honda at Australia, Phillip Island in a couple of weeks time.

First though, is a official test which takes place at the Phillip Island circuit on the 21st and 22nd Feb, the race taking place a week later on the 28th.

He said: “I’m so excited now, just to get out of this country and to some sunshine is pleasing enough, let alone the thought of getting back onto a bike! We have a two-day test on the 21st, so I can learn the circuit and start to find a set up to be ready for the race weekend.  

“My plan at the moment is to work hard to improve in every session, the suspension, my riding, electronics etc. I feel I’ve done the most I can to be ready for this challenge, from studying previous races and learning the track on Playstation to training and being the fittest I’ve ever been. Let’s see how it goes!”
