Leon Haslam trying to climb off at some unearthly speed on Starkey's Straight.
Somehow by luck or judgement he stayed on!

Easy
Leon is only showing a manouver taught a Dads school. It's called ''Starkeys ambulance stop''. Obviously Leon hasn't got it quite right as he didn't get to see how many fingers the paramedic was holding up while crying and asking for his mam.

Perhaps
to save money and reduce wear on expensive parts Leon has been paddling with his foot at speeds below 100mph in a "dual hybrid vorsprung technology ting" the Germans have invented. ...?
I won't mention the war but I will say that if our German cousins "ever want to rearrange the room layout of my grandads chippie without proper notice" again then the authorities might want to keep an eye on young Leon. He has Quisling written all over him. Him and the Germans have probably been constructing all kinds of victory weapons as well as developing water that has no "bounce" qualities.
If this was 1942 Leon would be in permanent residence at the Tower for his fondness of schnitzel or be stranded on the Steppes in his hastily assembled foreign Wehrmacht unit about to reversed over by an angry Russian in a tank.
