Rea secures pole at Magny Cours

Jonathan Rea (Castrol Honda) secured pole at Magny Cours with a new track best of 1'34.490.

Eugene Laverty (Yamaha WSB Team) qualified in second place, whilst Carlos Checa (Althea Racing) and Leon Camier (Aprilia Alitalia) complete the first row of the grid in third and fourth.

Sylvain Guintoli (Effenbert-Liberty Racing Ducati) was the fastest Frenchman leading the second row in fifth, ahead of of Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team Superbike) in sixth.

Leon Haslam (BMW Motorrad Motorsport) and Marco Melandri (Yamaha World Superbike) complete the second row in seventh and eighth.
