Video: Nobody mistreats a Street Triple like this guy

Funny French stuntist Julien Welsch has at last produced a sequel to his classic Extreme Triumph Street Triple Offroad video. He's cool and we like the way he's not too proud to include his screw ups! Filmed in Morocco it took six months to produce, including 11 days shooting and required specially-made 17in 'bucket' tyres. Enjoy!

Honda launches 2012 CBR1000RR Fireblade mini-site

Honda has opened a mini-website dedicated to the new 2012 Fireblade. It promises to tell the full story of the bike which will mark the 20th anniversary of the Fireblade series next year. Ducati launches 'Fight For Me' aftershave

A bunch of pretty Italian ladies turned out last week to mark Ducati's latest launch – the 'Fight for Me' range of male grooming products. Starting with the Fight For Me aftershave (£22 for a 100ml bottle) Ducati plans to roll out a range of manscaping unguents under the intriguingly named brand. Laura Squizzato, Michela Quattrociocche and Chiara Giallonardo were ...

Festival of 1000 Bikes: Freddie Spencer sent back to US

Rumours suggest Freddie Spencer has been put on a flight straight back to the US due to irregularities with his visa. The GP star had landed at Heathrow prior to appearing at this weekend's Festival of 1000 Bikes, organised by the VMCC. He'd been due to ride a Honda NS500 in the event's "Past Masters" track feature on Sunday, his ...

Will Suzuki's new middleweight live up to its own hype?

Suzuki has released yet more (blurred) teaser pics of its new 'middleweight motorcycle' - almost certainly a new V-Strom 650. Something about the way Suzuki is drip-feeding these images suggests a huge amount of confidence that the bike is going to make a big splash – or that they're a bit more excited about the bike than we yet have ...

Art of noise: Ducati exhaust ringtones free for your phone

Ducati has made the exhaust notes of nine of its bikes available for listening to, downloading or using as your ringtone. From Monster to GP10, WSB machine and new Diavel (with and without Termignonis) it's a soul-stirring, potentially bowel-loosening collection. It's also liable to prompt the intensely dispiriting observation from your other half that 'they all sound like tractors' Ducati ...

Rossi cops a feel

Valentino Rossi has been spotted copping a feel of girlfriend Marwa Klebi’s breasts aboard a £700,000 yacht, Italian gossip mag Oggi reports. In his constant quest for the perfect set-up, the nine-times world champion cupped first the left boob and then the right, but characteristically allowed his expression to give little away about what he gleaned. Commentators say rivals will ...

Riding skills: How to get on a motorcycle

Failure to mount a motorcycle properly can lead to poor forward vision and throttle control, and it’s a growing problem among predominantly slender, female new riders. Deterred by the complexity of explaining this key task adequately, magazines and instructors have shied away from it for years. So we’re incredibly thankful to American training outfit Motorcycle Riding Concepts who’ve managed to ...

ABS compulsory on US BMWs but 86% of UK BMW buyers opt for it anyway

ABS will be standard on all BMWs sold in America from 2012, the firm's US bosses have announced. But it's a move unlikely to spread to British beemers while 86% of us are happy to pay between £645 and £965 to spec our BMWs up with anti-lock, (including 94% of S1000RR buyers) according to the firm. BMW's US vice president Pieter ...

Three ways to load a bike for transporting

Wrong Wrong Right When you've suffered the indignity - and expense - of a motorcycle falling over in a van you want to make sure it will never, ever happen again. And that's after you've shot a couple of vertebrae out of place trying to get the bike in the van. Muscle power and string can conquer all, but when ...
