A photo finish was need to confirm Brit Leon Haslam's first ever World Superbike victory in race 1 at Philip Island today. Parkalgar Honda rider Eugene Laverty claimed victory in the World Supersport race at Portimao. Turkish rider Kenan Sofuoglu placed second for the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda team, followed by Parkingo Triumph BE1 rider Garry McCoy. Misano WSB: Spies claims victory in race 1, Byrne takes 2nd

American rider Ben Spies claimed victory in race 1 at Misano for the Yamaha WSB team.      It was Brit and Sterilgarda rider Shane Byrne that claimed second place onboard his Ducati 1098R, leaving Michel Fabrizio to take 3rd for the Ducati Xerox team. Monza WSB: Crutchlow wins Supersport race

British rider Cal Crutchlow won the World Supersport race at Monza, Italy onboard a Yamaha YZF-R6.    Crutchlow was fastest in the supersport qualifying session with a 1'49.706 lap.
