1 of 1

Mattia Pasini has taken victory at the Misano MotoGP round, as the penultimate lap saw huge drama as championship rivals and team-mates Gabor Talmacsi and Hector Faubel clashed in a three-rider collision with Simone Corsi.

At the chequered flag Pasini took the victory, with Gabor Talmacsi finishing second and taking the lead in the 125cc GP world championship, and Koyama third. Hector Faubel finished in 17th, missing out on any points and losing his title lead. Simone Corsi was forced to retire. Lukas Pesek also missed out as he crashed during the battle for second and third.

Britain’s Bradley Smith came good late in the race, moving up from 17th to finish a great eighth. Daniel Webb finished in 30th position.

Gabor Talmacsi now leads the championship by 10 points from teammate Hector Faubel, with Koyama moving up to third.
