World Superbikes set for US return in 2008

Next year’s WSB calendar is already taking shape with confirmation that the series will head to America to race at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah.

It looks likely that only the Superbike class will make the trip to America with the World Supersport series missing the event due to the high freight costs involved. The provisional date for the event will be June 1st.

The last time WSB raced in America was back in 2004 at Laguna Seca, but the series lost the race track and date to MotoGP. No other new events have been confirmed but there are still rumours regarding a race in Turkey plus a possible event in Portugal. More news on next years calendar is expected from series organisers FGSport at Brands Hatch.
