Danny Webb was lucky to escape injury after he crashed out of the Assen 125 MotoGP race in spectacular fashion.
The British teenager clipped the back of American Steve Bonsey’s KTM going into the final chicane on lap six and Danny Webb and his Molenaar Honda were sent flying through the air into the gravel trap.
Anny Webb escaped with just bruising to his lower back and he said: “I was a lot faster than Steve Bonsey coming him through the fast left and got a better exit but he braked later than he’d done before for the chicane.
“I braked but still hit the back of him. I tried to brake a little more but it just flipped me up and over the top.”
