Bayliss and Corser stay top in QP2

1 of 1

Troy Bayliss heads into this afternoon’s Superpole session with the fastest time in QP2 beating fellow countryman Corser by less than a tenth.

Bayliss set a blistering time of 1.31.05, nearly a second faster than his qualifying time yesterday.

James Toseland and the Hanspree Honda crew didn’t get caught up in the five minute frenzy at the end of the session and opted to work towards a setup for Superpole.

However the Brit still managed to set the fifth fastest time of the weekend, only beaten by the two Aussies and Ruben Xaus and Lorenzo Lanzi.

The two remaining British contenders have fallen down the field slightly compared to yesterday with Aaron Zanotti starting tomorrows races from 19th and Dean Ellison heading from 21st.
