Valencia MotoGP: Gabor Talmacsi fastest in 125 free practice one

Aprilia’s Gabor Talmacsi was the fastest rider in this morning’s first free practice in Valencia ahead of the final 125 MotoGP.

The world championship leader recorded a best lap of 1:41.280 at the Spanish circuit.

Nicolas Terol was second quickest at his home race with a best time of 1:41.462 on his Derbi while Herctor Faubel was third just over 0.1secs behind.

Britain’s Bradley Smith was 12th fastest after this first session on his Honda with a best time of 1:42.545.

Fellow British rider Danny Webb was 20th on his Honda with a time of 1:43.430.
