Milan show: KTM reveals World Superstock race bike

KTM has revealed it will race in World Superstock next year and plans to move up to World Superbikes.

The firm broke the news at the launch of the production version of its RC8 1190 superbike at the Milan show and unveiled a fully liveried, Redbull sponsered Superstock machine.

KTM has a two year plan to get the bike regularly on the podium and if all goes well wants to move up to racing in World Superbikes.

Also revealed was a version of the RC8 kitted out with the full catalogue of performance parts that KTM called its customer race bike.
