Yukio Kagayama will not race at the Lausitzring today after braking his fifth metacarpal of his left hand.
The Alstare Suzuki rider crashed during the wet second qualifying session on Saturday morning and despite visits to the Clinica Mobile was forced to sit out of Superpole.
The Japanese star was hoping that a night’s rest would improve the injury but he was in too much pain to compete in warm–up and will not race today.
