Well owning one could well become a reality because GSE Racing has all four of their ’08 British Superbike machines up for sale.

With the four-time BSB winning team now turning to Yamaha for 2009, the Italian V-twins will not be used by Darrell Healey’s squad next season.

And any potential team looking to run a competitive superbike team can have the lot for a discounted price.

“We’ve still got all our wheels, the electronics and the bikes to sell,” Colin Wright told MCN.

“There’s £150K worth of Magneti Marelli electronics, spares in the region of £150K and 40 wheels – the Marchesini fronts cost about £400 and the rears £500.

“With the bikes and the spares and a good rider, this is all the equipment you’d need to be a top six team in BSB.

“And if we sold the whole lot together we’d let it go for £300K.”
