In this year’s review of the year MCN named the Ducati 1098R as the bike of the year in the British Superbike championship. Here’s why, in numbers.

14 - Number of race wins Ducati had in BSB in 2008.

1036 - Total points racked up by the three Ducati 1098R’s in the British Superbike Championship.

5 - Number of Ducati pole positions in 2008, all for Shane Byrne.

152 - The number of laps led by a Ducati in BSB in 2008. 494 laps were completed in total!
