James Westmoreland has signed to ride for NCT Racing in BSS next season after finishing fourth last season with three impressive rostrum finishes.

Westmoreland was Centurion Racing’s top points scorer, but has jumped ship to NCT Racing to run alongside Lee Jackson who moves from the Superstock 1000 Championship.

Westmoreland will also switch manufactures, running Yamaha R6’s with NCT.

”I am over the moon with the rider line up for 2009,” said NCT Racing Team principal Neil Haslam.

“In Lee we have the consummate professional who brings a wealth of experience to the team and in James we have the brightest young prospect in the UK.

“I think the package we now have gives us an excellent chance of fighting for the top honours in the championship in our first year in Supersport.”
