British Superbikes: Karl Harris leads and Adam Jenkinson shocks in final wet free practice

1 of 1

Rob Mac Racing’s Karl Harris has powered to the top of the third and final free practice session at Thruxton in wet conditions.

Standing water didn’t slow the bikes dramatically, with Harris’ fastest time today of 1.19.963 just four seconds off the fastest time yesterday in the dry set by Cal Crutchlow.

The HM Plant rider who was quickest yesterday was third quickest behind Airwaves Ducati’s Shane Byrne

The shock of the session however was Adam Jenkinson aboard the SMT Honda.

He landed sixth position just behind Leon Haslam and Tom Sykes, and Cup riders Chris Burns on the STP Superbike MV Agusta and John Laverty on the Buildbase Northwest 200 1098R embarrassed a few Superbike riders with a ninth and tenth respectively.
