Tom Sykes has cemented his first ever British Superbike race win by making it a double at Oulton Park.

Leon Haslam got the whole-shot but Sykes soon managed to get past on the second lap and then hold first place to the flag.

Cal Crutchlow was the only man to challenge the Rizla Suzuki rider, sitting on his tail for most fo the race, but he just couldn't get close enough to attempt a pass.

Shane Byrne started the race in fourth place and took a long time to get past third placed man Leon Haslam, leaving it to the penultimate lap.

Then on the last lap Byrne made a move on Crutchlow for second, but the HM Plant Honda rider was having none of it and instantly took him back at the chicane leaving Byrne with his second third-place finish of the weekend.
