Snetterton British Superbikes: Stuart Easton out of rounds five and six

1 of 1

Stuart Easton will miss tomorrow’s races after a high-speed crash at Snetterton in qualifying today (Saturday).

Easton crashed before the rain came down in the session in huge fashion, dumping his MSS Discovery Kawasaki at the end of the Revett Straight at over 180mph.

“I’ve just taken a look at the logging and at the moment I crashed I was doing 181mph,” Easton told MCN after his crash.

“I’ve broken the main bone in my right wrist. Toby Branfoot (series doctor) has manipulate it back into place and said we can have a cast on it in the week, but I’m definitely out of tomorrow and Mallory Park.”

MCN caught up with Easton’s Team Owner Nick Morgan who said: “Stuart had a brake issue at the end of the straight.

“I’m not sure whether to replace Stuart while he’s out or not, it’s just really unfortunate because we were running well this weekend.”
