Pol Espargaro has provisional pole in the 125cc class

 

Derbi rider Pol Espargaro has taken topped the time sheets in the 125cc free practice two.

With only a few seconds remaining on the clock Sandro Cortese was at the top of the time sheets with a time of 2’00”324. But Espargaro and Di Meglio put in their fastest laps in the closing seconds of the free practice.

For the majority of the 45 minute session the top spot was contested between I.C Team Aprilia rider Andrea Iannone,  Aprilia rider Nicolas Terol - who finished down in 10th and provisional pole sitter Pol Espargaro.

Iannone was the first rider to record a lap within the two minute bracket with a time of 2’00”843 with 15 minutes remaining.

British riders Danny Webb and Scott Redding finished 15th and 16th respectively . Both rider’s highest places throughout the session were 5th place.

Polaris World Aprilia rider Bradley Smith finished the session in eighth place after holding the top spot for several minutes, being the second rider to record a two minute lap with a time of 2’00”578 with eight minutes remaining.

Early front runners Gabor Talmacsi and Nicolas Terol finished sixth and 10th respectively. Bancaja Aspar Aprilia rider Sergio Gadea finished fifth.
