Troy Bayliss took his fourth and fifth win of the 2008 season at Assen to secure a commanding 70 point lead in the World Superbike Championship standings. The 39-year-old Australian was pushed all the way for his race two victory by an on form Noriyuki Haga onboard the Yamaha Italia R1.The Assen circuit has given Bayliss mixed results in the past. In 2000 he crashed out in his first ever ride at the track battling Noriyuki Haga. Then two years later he crashed again handing the advantage to Colin Edwards who went on to win the title. More recently his form has beeen strong at the flowing circuit, in 2007 he had an epic battle with James Toseland with the two men taking a win a piece. This year the Australian went one better with his second double victory of the season.Watch the post race press conference below to hear Bayliss talk about his first and last race at Assen and his 70 point championship lead.
