I've had this bike from new for about 6 months now so thought it time i gave my two cents worth. It was bought for my nephew but for reasons i fail to understand he decided he prefered his scooter! Pfft!
I passed my test 17 years ago so been through quite a few different bikes in this time and tbh i had intended to sell this bike on....but then i rode it haha. Firstly...this is a proper bike, sounds like a bike should and does what i bike should. Im 6'1 tall and the bike accommodates me fine giving a good comfortable riding position. Some have said the handling is poor with this bike but in all honestly i have found the opposite to be true (infact handles a darn site better than some of the yamaha and honda's ive ridden). Feels nice and light when riding and great fun on the cornering. Not found any problems as yet with build quality, like any new bike keep its servicing up to date and look after it and you wont have a problem. Top speed for me has been 78mph but then again im not a light as the average teenager,im sure they would make the 80 mark. What i really like about this bike is the acceleration, for a 125cc this is really quick of the mark!!
I tend to overly look after my bikes,so much so that all the fairing is removed once a month so i can give everything a good clean etc. Now on many many bikes this would seem like a nightmare, but it literally takes me 15mins with an allen key to remove the lot......trust me, if you do your own servicing this is a god send! lol
Talking of servicing, being a Spanish bike i thought finding parts would be difficult but theres several Rieju dealerships around now all of which can obtain parts within a matter of days, Urban Bikes (google them) are also fantastic at providing anything Rieju related and i highly recommend them.
If i really have to give a negative on this bike, its that it doesnt come with an alarm as standard, coz trust me,i'd wanna nick it! lol
Great looking bike, great sounding bike, theres even a malossi 183cc cylinder kit available for when you pass your test ;-)
Awesome little bike ;-p
