  • KAWASAKI Z500 SE (2024-on)

There’s a lot to like about Kawasaki’s latest A2-ready roadster, with its supernaked looks, lithe handling and peppy performance

  • KAWASAKI NINJA 500 SE (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The replacement for the Ninja 400 is enhanced in several ways, but remains an impressively well-resolved sportsbike for A2 riders

  • MOTO-GUZZI V85 TT (2024-on)

Mix of capability and character makes it possibly the most appealing ‘mid-size’ adventure bike

  • HONDA CBR600RR (2024-on)

    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The Honda CBR600RR is as yobbish as you want it to be but does it with style and sophistication

  • HONDA MONKEY 125 (2022-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The Monkey is a bike that is more than the sum of it's parts. Despite a low powered engine, an average gear box that seems to have a few false neutrals and is a little imprecise and, I agree with the review, a dim dash that really should be better, the bike is amazing fun. Used in town and city...

  • HONDA CBF1000 (2006-2009)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

No bells and whistles, a reliable, cheap to run and pretty fast sports tourer. It is uncomplicated, you can fix many things yourself, very slim for a thousand. If you can't be bothered with all the digital and prefer analogue biking, I would recommend this bike. It won't get you noticed, which...

  • KYMCO X-TOWN 300 (2017-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

not a bad moped. This is my first and I'm happy with the experience. I'm 6 feet tall and the front seat is a little low. It's also a pretty heavy moped. I wanted to teach my sister to ride, but it would be difficult for her with the weight of the motorcycle. I was also upset that there is no...

  • BMW R1100R (1995-2003)

    Overall owners' rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

We're these biked rushed to market? Telelever enhances handling but bike is cursed by severe compromises. $$$$ repair costs.

  • HONDA CBR1100XX SUPER BLACKBIRD (1997-2005)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

I know it’s an old bike and does not come with all the facilities that modern bikes now do. But it’s just an overall great bike and can be used for most journeys. So yes I would recommend it to a friend looking for a bike.

  • SUZUKI GSX-S750 (2017-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

I found the seat uncomfortable. Put on a bagster seat. Much better. I also added a rack for the pillion. I have had many bikes litre sports bikes. You don’t need the power. Riding this bike bike and wringing its neck is great. I went touring on it. It did 61 mpg that was sticking to 100kph. Did...

  • HONDA ADV350 (2022-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

Rides more like a bike than a scooter, thanks to great suspension. Plenty of power for all types of ride. Handles all road surfaces well. Tons of underseat storage. I have both large bikes and small scooters and this is a perfect in-between - I find myself using this most of the time.

  • SUZUKI DL1000 V-STROM (2002-2008)

    Overall owners' rating
    2 out of 5 (2/5)

I think that the people that hype this bike in 2024 have never ridden a proper motorcycle. As an adventure bike it is awful. Extremely top heavy. This is a touring bike and nothing close to adventure bike.

  • HONDA NC750X (2021-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I love my NC but there are a couple of things Honda could improve. The ride and engine are great, way more power than I need. I'm not tall but I do suffer from the wind deflecting into my helmet giving a wobble and wind noise. I added an after market bigger screen and that helps a lot, ...

  • BMW K1600B (2016-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

This bike is a rival to what ? its a 160 bhp cruiser / bagger with 6 cylinders and 130 ft lb torque. its got all day comfort for 2 , all the bells and whistles too. compare it to a Harley and it pretty much beats it with its angel eyes closed ! yes its heavy at a stand still etc...
