Aprilia RS125 (1995-2012)

MCN overall rating rating is 4
Owners' overall rating rating is 3.5

MCN review overall verdict:  "The Aprilia RS125 has remained the top motorcycle for most right-thinking teenagers since it first rolled out of the factory in 1995. It oozes big motorcycle style and handles like a dream. It’s expensive to buy and run thanks to pricey two-stroke motorcycle oil, but, if you can afford it, the Aprilia RS125 is worth every penny. Watch the Aprilia..."   Read full review

Why buy from Rocket Centre Road Bikes

In 1989, we first started our business under the name of Livesey Service Station Ltd, the garage was mainly angled around 2nd hand motorcycles, scooters, cars and petrol, we tried things like valeting, importing new VW Beetles and vans from Mexico, even Christmas trees over the festive periods! In 1997 we got a brand new showroom and the floors were excessively polished knowing the Aprilia rep was on his way to see us regarding starting a franchise. After a few ifs and buts, ums and r’s we eventually got what we wanted and became the North West’s largest sole Aprilia dealership. Also during 1997 we got heavily involved with Go-Ped brand scooters and this was the start of our in-house ‘Toy Shop’. The next few years became a real wake up call for us when we realised what kind of a dent we were putting in the market, we then had talks with Kawasaki and they joined in the spring of 2002. We have always been independent and were constantly looking to improve and better ourselves as the service area, parts, accessories and clothing departments exploded. We thought to ourselves, we better get a bigger shop! During year 2000 we started looking for ideal sites in the area, then the ideal plot became available and we decided this was going to be the new home of ‘The All New Rocket Centre’. It took 3 years of planning to get where we are today and a lot sentimental issues with the original Rocket Centre, but we have never looked back since. Our official open day was 11th July 2004, panicking nobody would turn up we were quickly bombarded with around 5½ - 6 thousand people from all around the country and this was when we felt the rocket had launched! Since the move to our new site the ball has not stopped rolling with the introduction of Ten Fore, the North’s largest Quad specialists. Aprilia, KTM, Derbi and Moto Guzzi take pride of place in the on-road section of the showroom and Yamaha, Honda, KTM and Kawasaki represent the off-road side of the business.
