Full details

This is the single swing arm edition, standard Daytona with low mileage, comes with single seat conversion.

MOT until Dec 14 and taxed until March 2015.The bike was a cat D in august 2013 due to being knocked off its sidestand and damaging the fairing. This is not recorded on the V5. It has been professionally repaired and had a full service at about 11,900 miles at the same time by the previous owner.

I have ridden over a 1000 miles since and the bike is stable and handles as it should. Tyres and brakes are all in good condition and the engine and radiator are all tight with no leaks. There is some scratches on one headlamp protector which does not affect the lighting and can be replaced for less then £20 if needed.

Starts easily and has recently been remapped on a dyno (receipt available). Unfortunately I was given no service receipts by the previous owner but an extended test ride is offered for peace of mind.

Priced to sell with genuine low mileage, can be checked through MOT history online.

PLEASE NOTE NO CANVASSERS.

MCN overall rating rating is 3
Owners' overall rating rating is 4.5

MCN review overall verdict:  "The Triumph Daytona 955i is an extremely rapid, sweet handling superbike. Unfortunately it was about four years too late in a fiercely competitive class. The R1, GSX-R1000 and FireBlade are lighter and faster. The Triumph Daytona 955i’s saving grace is its character from its gruff three-cylinder engine, distinctive understated looks and the fact few riders can use anything like all..."   Read full review

About the seller

My name is Chris, I have not owned a bike for many yeas and bought this recently hoping to use it for rides out and communting, however I have found it unsuitable for rides into London with an average speed of 15mph! and so I need something a lot smaller so may consider a part exchange, cash either way. WHY.
