World’s first sexy Goldwing?

Yes, it’s a Honda Goldwing – stripped-back, straight-barred and oozing a purpose and poise Honda never intended for it. Danish film production designer Lars Nielson set about a 1976-model GL1000 to see if a sportier, lighter, faster ’Wing lay within, and boy did he find it. “I also found great joy in pissing-off my Brit-bike riding friends by building a Honda café-bobber-whatever...

Wow, a bike that would only need one gearchange a month. It would have to be fun, nothing that looks that cool could be bad.

Old Gold is best

I guess to Goldwing owners, all their bikes are sexy. The modern Goldwing is admittedly a bit Liberace, but the original was good looking - in a kinda 70's naked bike way.

This version has given it a 'street' muscle-bike look without ruining the original lines.
