Road tolls should be scrapped and never thought about ever again. End of. Scanning key fobs is taking the piss. I hope MAG will be successful. Scotland is managing fine without road tolls. England and Wales should follow suit.

I have to use the Tyne Tunnel every day, its £1.25 each way for a car which works out at a hell of a lot over the year and 18 pence a journey for motorbikes, which is pointless and should be scrapped anyway as the revenue raised from bikes is so small. Also bikes cause hold ups at the tunnel as you need the exact change and have to take your gloves off etc unless you get a pre-pay permit.

The Tamar Bridge via the A38 linking Devon to Cornwall is £1 for a car but free for motorcycles. Nice to see, in this day and age. So come on down to sunny Cornwall to enjoy some great roads, great waves and of course some awesome pasties!
