Guest road test: Shervin reviews the Kawasaki ZX-10R

Shervin Rezaiy is a trained auto mechanic, internet phenomenon and awesome motorcycle modifying legend. We are privileged to have him review the greatest bike of all time, the 2005 Kawasaki ZX-10R. Pros+ Does 104mph in 1st+ Sounds like a man shouting+ Enjoyable at midnights when everywhere is silent and dark Cons– Gear box does not work properly after 10 minutes– Drops out of...

april fool

is this for real ? had to check the date on it..............when you reach 103 mph in first gear then the revs go down when you reach 104 mph !!!! think you,ll find it,s caused by a thing called the rev limiter mate !!!!

Holy $%&?/

If this is serious it's terrible to read and gleen much valuable info from. Reads like a terrible translation job. Rather a waste of time reading when one is looking for true insight.

Well done Shervin

Fantastic and well thought out review of ZX-10R. At the moment I'm searching for a new bike, after reading this the search is over, the sound of a bike is important to me and if it sounds like a man shouting - wow - awesome! It is really good to see MCN finally putting together a decent review of a bike, only an idea but why not have Shervin review all the bikes? He's obviously an expert in the field and his style of writing is really easy to follow, my God that man really paints a picture! Looking forward to hearing more from this soon to be motorcycle review legend!

Whatever Shervin does...

... I hope to god the authorities take his grinder and drill off him before he removes a little too much 'weight' from his motorcycle and kills someone as a result.

If anyone at Kawasaki is reading this review, do us all a favour! Contact Shervin, have his bike taken to a workshop and restored to original spec (nice new SAFE frame would be a start!). While the bike is in the workshop having the extremely necessary repairs done fly the man out to the factory and show him WHY bikes are made with the extra 'weight'. Maybe explain stress and fatigue to him and get him to understand how dangerous and deadly they can be.

I thought it was a piss take to begin with but having looked a little deeper this guy seems the real deal! Forget about dangerous high speed riders and the likes, this guy IS going to die....
