So I have my full UK motorcycle licence and I'm wondering whether I can ride in California on this licence, or whether I'll need a US one. I know you can ride on a UK licence if you're only visiting, but not sure on the rest!

for a 5 year stay, you would need a Cal licence, for insurance at the very least.

Maybe worth asking when you apply for your visas / work permits etc.

I have one or 2 friends across the pond, so shall enquire and see.
