Poll: What should Rossi do?

It's not going well for the Italian legend this year. Seventh at the Portuguese MotoGP is his best result so far and rumours of retirement persist in the media. If you were Rossi, what would you do now? pollcomment

F*ck off you twat.

Im a stoner fan you moron. But i appreciate Rossi's talent and how he has brought the sport more coverage.

What does his sexuality have to do with racing?

Stop dragging your knuckles on the ground and try being the first person from your family to stand up right. Neanderthal!!

What's a PM?

Chrisb970, what is a PM? Sorry, don't understand your message mate and you're certainly not standing out amongst the sea of twats that I've put straight over the years. So forgive me if I've forgotten our conversation. Cheers!

There aren't enough options. My suggestions below..

1. Take Tuba playing lessons

2. Go on a game rangers course

3. Try and stem the flow of abusive and idiotic rants on these threads (least likely)

Do you not think Rossi is thinking longterm here ? Moving to ducati for the love of the sport, to put the manufactoror of his home country on the right track before his retirement ? He noes the bike is a dog and alwase has been, but could he be thinking of sorting them out and then taking a role at ducati after his retirement to see it through ?

Well so far it's been a rather long and complicated interview process for a retirement job, and not going too well as it stands.  I guess now when they ask him, "Tell me about a time you've experienced failure in a previous job and how did you handle it." he'll have something to say now.  Of course successes he can rattle off easily, plus for "when have you experienced conflict in the work place." there's oodles of material.

I don't believe that Rossi has to ride around the Ducatis problems, he has to ride around the tyres problems. Only Bridgestone can solve the Ducatis problems, and seeing as they are supplying the whole grid they cannot do what they did for Stoner in 2007 and specialise. They have tried to help Rossi all they can but their latest softer walled front didn't help and fucked up everyone else at the same time so now they are going back with a harder front that the rest of the grid has asked for.

Rossi would no doubt be very competitive in WSB on a Pirelli shod Ducati Panigale next season but if the rules for WSB are about to be changed to take the bikes closer to their road counterparts, that might rule out that move as the series kudos would be severely dented. The Motogp move into CRT territory will give Rossi the chance to get on a competitive machine in 2014 but first he has to see out next season somewhere, Aprilia ART maybe ?

Well with the introduction of these new tyres(starting from Silverstone) Ducati could well be in luck.

Peronsally i think it's a stupid decision, if you're going to make a change to the tyres then do it from the start of the season. Don''t change things half way through.

It must be a conspiracy. New tyres made to help speed up Rossi and wreck Stoner's title bid! The repsol riders hate these tyres but Stoner will adapt(again). Wonderful thing, adaption.
