Marc Marquez dominates Indianapolis Moto2 race

Marc Marquez increased his lead in the Moto2 world championship to a commanding 39-points after dominating this afternoon’s 26-lap race in Indianapolis. Once the former 125GP world champion seized the lead from fast starting Dominique Aegerter on lap four, Marquez never looked in any danger of squandering the opportunity to clinch his fifth win of the season. He needed only two laps...

It's a shitty track that gives tyre troubles to some, even Ianonne was miles behind. Can't dismiss Smith on just one ride but I bet he's wishing that he'd moved up this season rather than wait for next. That Tech3 M1 won't be anywhere near as close to the factory bikes next season and both riders will struggle to re-create this seasons results.

If Marquez gels with the Bridgestones he will be seriously quck next season, ther's something Stoneresque about the way he picks it up out of the corners.

Enough of Smith

he will be found wanting 2013, just as he has throughout his GP career.

Marquez was sublime. Seemingly skittering on the edge of disaster at every turn. This is the type of commitment that takes a rider to the very top. He is going to be very entertaining 2013.

NOS

Nos,  Obviously you know more than Herv because Bradley has only been riding for him for two years. So he must be making a big mistake signing Bradley You say Bradley has always been found wanting. I thought he rode really well in 125s considering his size. In MOTOGP 2 he has always been consistantly better than any of his team mates and has rode the wheels of the tech 3 bike to get alot decent results on an uncompetitive bike. While he isnt going to win the MOTGP title on the Thech 3 bike he will be as good as Cal or maybe a bit better.l . ...I just feel sorry for Marquez because it looks like your predicting great things for him, thats definatly put the knockers on him doing well (Class act this week though)

no way

If Smith had the ability to take top 5 finishes regularly, and had a least 2 or 3 wins this season on Moto2, then he might be in with a chance of a MotoGP ride, he hasn't, he's full of shit, he can talk the talk but he can't walk the walk. He's never been any good and size doesn't matter, it hasn't stopped the big lads on 125's, and it's not a major advantage being small in MotoGP, it's TALENT that wins, and he ain't got it and never will have, he's just an embarrassment, and do as well as Cal, in your dreams. Give the ride to Redding or at least 4 others in Moto2 that are worthy of it.

What

can you say! another stonking ride from little Marc, I can't wait to see him in Gp next year, this lad has has the passion.heart and go getter comittment that Rossi had when he was a youngster. It would be nice to see a few antics on the track after winning a race to build up a bit of character for himself and his fan club,of which i'm sure will get larger and larger.Good lad Marc it's exiting riders like you that can only make the GPs have a better audience.

Bradley Smith is sort of promised a motogp bike next year 'dependent on results this season' Does anyone know what that means exactly and how Herve see's things at the moment? not sure he should get a Tech3 Yam - they are one of the best bikes on the grid and don't think he deserves that yet.
