Valentino Rossi elated after dream Yamaha return

Valentino Rossi’s Ducati nightmare seemed like a distant memory in Qatar last night after the Italian made a dream return to Yamaha by finishing second after a terrific late tussle with rookie Marc Marquez. An early mistake and failure to quickly navigate a way by German Stefan Bradl in the opening exchanges of the 22-lap race seemed to have crushed...

I have come out of commenting retirement for this! Rossi ran a great race last night, it's so good to see him back after 2 years of pain. He has firmly reinstated himself as an alien. Would love to know what Lorenzo and Rosi were talking about, they seemed to be having a good chat. Great effort by Marquez. Unlucky Brad and Cal, still needs work on his race craft but has got good pace. Was stoner actually missed? Not sure he was.

Cracking Race!

Well, that was not only a big "two fingers" to all the doubters and haters but it was also a swift kick to the plumbs for them too!! Rossi showed he is still as quick and as clever as he ever was, the boy aint lost a shred of talent after two years of having his head fucked with, that is impressive!! Only the most brain dead of the complete retards on here would have written this man off... They simply don't have a clue!! (Stand up Nostro) in fact, where are ya, prob won't have much to say at the moment eh... ha ha ha.. Not so smug now i bet!

What a Ride

The GOAT has returned, an absolute class act. That early mistake looked like a mid pack finish for Rossi, but once Bradl was out of the way, he was on fire and dealt with those two Hondas. Anyone that doubts his ability or skill, leave by the back door.

Marquez, a brilliant ride some great battles to come this season.

Eat My Words

After that display by Rossi I say sorry to Valentino for my negative comments in the past about the man,  once he moved into 5th spot his racing instinct came back it`s been 2 years since we have seen that.

What a pig that Ducati must have been thats all in the past, cant wait for the next race.  Andy

How many people wrote him off ??????

To come from 7th to 2nd says he was fastest. Had the qualifiying not gone so wrote we'd probably be looking at a win.!

Those last two laps were special, his bike ran put of fuel just after the finish so his engine mode must have been on serious economy mode.. The penultimate lap Marcs honda was ducati 2007esque catching Rossi on the straight.. Pretty impressive stuff. ps Cal got his wish two factory yamaha in 1st and 2nd though I'm not convinced he's happy..

Love Valentino or hate him it can't be denied that last nights race was lit up by the charge from 7th to 2nd, after two years on the Duc he's not lost the ability to overtake or attack.

And how bloody happy was he in parc ferme ?

Rossi (alien)

Being a Dani fan I was disappointed but what can you say about Rossi apart from he is still a genius.
Dani will be back and Jorge and Mark will not make it easy for him but the man is an exceptional racer and probably the GOAT.
