I once did a California Superbike School at Rockingham Raceway only to find that the rather quick lad was non other than Thomas Luthi. CSS Director Andy Ibbott, just told us to ignore him. That's a difficult thing to do when he made us look so slow, although he was using all of his available gears... and brakes.

This is how the cirucits used to generate spectator access to the lesser events. There were many times that the owner of Brands Hatch would actually pay larger stars to appear in lesser races. All adds to the fun and builds a good spectator base which in this day and age is desperately neeed.

Lets hope we see more of it, maybe Shakey and the others turning up for such races.
