would someone with the resume of Rossi race Suzuka 8hrs?? He's already won it and has nothing to gain by winning it again. Even Cal has nothing to gain by spending the extra time flying across the globe to prepare, test, and race in the event. This isn't like 20-30 years ago when doing the Suzuka race was part GP riders contracts.

Rossi said he would not do it weeks ago, reason was " it takes too much out of me" he's words not mine. Signs of age plus Yamaha have found it cheaper to just put some posters up as a form of marketing rather they pay him.
