So, what now for Guy Martin's TT dreams?

Guy Martin went into his 2013 TT campaign with big hopes, still chasing that sought-after win, but left having barely made an impression, and with a best finish of 4th. So what now for the truck mechanic-cum-racer? Is it time to hang up the leathers and move on? Or has he still got a win left in him?

Guy Martin.

He's still a bloody quick rider and great to watch as well as being a great personality and good publicity for the TT. Whither he'll win one is another matter, but as the old saying goes it's the participation which matters Good luck next time Guy!

"-but left having barely made an impression,"

Bloody hell that's harsh! He's a class act, he didn't disgrace himself and should keep trying.

Here's some proper motorcycle news:

I don't know.. you seem to have missed the point. Guy Martin is central to the TT and him not competing would be a massive loss to the event.

Totally Disaggree

How can MCN say Guy hardley made an impression. He is one of the most popular and charasmatic riders who ride in the TT. Give the man the right bike and he will win. If guy doesnt return to the island it will be a sad loss

problem is

too many folk get sidetracked on how he's a character and a funny guy and he likes drinking tea and all this rubbish. When the truth of the matter is that he just cant handle the pace for long enough to win a race, to say he's on the wrong bike is nonsense, Hydrex honda, Wilson Craig and Uel Duncan, and he never won a TT on any of them. Smashing guy and bloody fast, got his autograph twice and wish him the best of luck, but stick him on Dunlop's bike and he'd still get beat.He just isn't good enough to win on merit simple as. Oh and no podiums generally means no impression.

STAY

God damn it MCN, Guy Martin is one of the key players in the TT. We don't want him to win for a long time, because when he's won he's quitting, and we don't want him to quit. Besides you've got to let McGuiness get 26 wins first.
