Dutch TT: Cal blazes to pole!

Cal Crutchlow has blazed to pole position for tomorrow's Dutch TT, blowing away his rivals in an exciting session. Crutchlow's late lap of 1'34.398 was 0.357 faster than that of second placed Marc Marquez. Marquez, delayed on his first fast lap by a big moment from Bradley Smith, also put in a late lap to take second. Stefan Bradl led the session...

Rossi found an improvement

at Aragon... is that why he is only half a second behind Cal at Assen?

Agreed Benny

VR is feeling good with his set up and we all know motorcycle racing is mostly between the ears. He might be a touch down on pace, but never discount his race craft. Rossi knows how to scrap. The only thing I'm predicting for tomorrow is a battle between VR46 and CC at some point in the race (most likely towards the end - they both like to burn off some fuel before they get aggressive) and some very talented riding from both of them.

Talk about rolling a fat one..has your Mum caught up with you yet Benny?

Last year, Hayden was a second behind Stoners pole..this year he's 1.5 sec back. Dovizioso is over 2 secs off.

Some improvement from the Bozo's at Bologna.

Marlboro Aprilia next year anyone?

Improvement?

I'm well pleased for Crutchlow and British racing tonight but..Dovi beat him last year and hasn't suddenly forgotten how to ride a bike, the same as some fucko's on here thought Rossi had.

Cal is a qualifier..he's been faster than Rossi every single round this year, but more often than not come raceday, Rossi has been the quicker rider. It was the same last year with Dovi.

Gobmeier came in and blamed Rossi for changing stuff too fast and was gonna take the methodical approach. He blew smoke up Dovi's arse and Dovi blew him some back.

Right up until Mugello and even at the test after, nearly everybody in that camp was still trotting out positive corporate spin and slant. Dovi wanted to race the 'Lab' bike. Hayden said it was a waste of time.

Now Andrea thinks the same and looks mighty pissed off. What the fuck are they going to do? They are just playing at GP racing.

If the Rossi developed ALU frame, the same as every other twat uses, is so fkin bad..why don't they go back to Stoners "winning" CF bike?

There must be one or two still kicking around?

Sure as shit stinks..It'd make a few armchair geniuses happy around these parts.

Cal is a qualifier...

that is very true Wosi... but Rossi being faster come race day... not faster over the full race distance more often than not. This is the 2013 season, and Cal appears to be in the ascendancy, and on his form so far this year, he is outperforming his bike, his team, his manner, his history, his satellite comrades and a few of his factory elders too :)

Good news...

for the Brits, they always seem to do well at Assen...I too would like to see CC and SR get the wins, bout time we saw some changes in the pecking order...way too many Spanish riders on the best machinery collecting pay checks, exception being JL, DP and MM.  Hope Bradders can push himself into the top 5 also...boy he must be in pain though.

Here's hoping Cal can get a good start and put some pressure on the factory boys.

Let me preface this by saying these are my opinion, so if you dont agree...I could care less. Im tired of these pathetic fat middle aged wannabe s thinking that their own personal opinion is somehow valid and everyone else is some sort of fanboy poser...WAKEUP FUCKHEADS!!!! Anyways I digress... 2 points....Cal is nothing but a qualifier...laughed my ass off when he said yesterday that he was the fastest even though he was well down the order in fp2...and everyone else was qualifying. Thats exactly what he does most practice sessions...try to qualify at the end for a good lap time. He did post an impressive qualifying lap though...im predicting another crash for him this weekend trying to keep up with the big boys. 2nd, Dovi is beginning to succumb to the ducati curse by cracking with the frustration of zero forward progress. Makes Vale look like a superchamp for soldiering on for two years when ducati did fuck all....dovi is cracking 7 races into his first year, and has actually gone backwards from rossis race performance. Shows that there is only so many things you can try before confidence suffers. Crutchlow should be kissing herves ass these days because if he went to ducati, he would be also VERY unremarkable as well...the bike makes him look better than he is...Dovi would still be handing cal his ass on a plate if he was still there...as will rossi when after this weekend...that is all...anti-fanboys lets hear your spouting vitriol disquised in the form of pretentious unbiased racing fans, only interested in the facts and not what it really is... your own private agenda of hate

Whose Fault?

Well it's not Dovi's, he has pedigree. If there was any suggestion it was Rossi's, that's fading every two weeks, plus he has a certain pedigree himself. Guido I think it's called. Which leaves either Hayden, or, eh Ducati? Hayden you cock, pull your finger out and fix that Duke!
