Silverstone MotoGP: Lorenzo responds to Marquez in FP2

Jorge Lorenzo has responded to Marc Marquez's fastest time of the first session at the British Grand Prix, going 0.6 faster than Marquez on his flying lap before controlling the rest of the session, setting a 2'02.7 lap in the process.  This is not a track where they slide or break that hard, so far it suits Lorenzo quiet well, as he pilots the M1 like Kosinski or Cadalora would do, having developed the bike for hsi style over the past two years, mostly on the corner speed. The drawback is obvious since the end of last season, after <> 15 laps, his tires are shot and he get left behind on acceleration, he also never was too strong on the gas or in the wet. At 2/10th, the Honda are not far enough for him to feel confortable yet. My ten pences on Marquez and Pedrosa being in front at the end of the race.

Agree, it's the new stoner/ducati scenario. Has admitted he's riding the best he ever has on his bike and is getting beat by both hondas...The race is on sunday and the neutral honda will have an advantage again over race distance.. Rossi's yam was neutral which is why it was so successful.. Brings a tear to my eye watching the yam struggle on the brakes and corner entry, whilst the honda out yam it. What the **** were Yamaha thinking??? Rossi needs a frame built for him run in parallel, and yamaha can get back to what they know best.
