Aprilia bike revamp keeps Aspar for 2014

Aprilia has kept its link with the high-profile Aspar squad after vowing to give its ART 1000cc MotoGP bike a radical makeover for 2014. Good call Aspar

Complete MotoGp monopoly by HRC and Yamaha at all levels is undesireable and unwelcome. Bring on the underdogs......

That bike is already pretty amazing, imagine what it can do with a decent engine and gearbox. I was reading they are undecided about which ECU to run, but the Dorna standard one has got to be pretty good by next year, and the extra 4 litres of fuel that comes with it could see them right at the front.

Crafty stuff by both Aspar and Aprilia

Who'll ride it though?..

..Espagaro looks as though he might take the Forward racing ride, possibly opening the door for Nicky?..

Be good to see him on a competitive ( of sorts ) bike..

Sounds cool

Aprilia know about racing that is for sure. Let's hope Aspar can get not just one but two quality, hungry riders for next season to push into the top ten.
