Probably been deleted as some people on here are clearly a few cogs short of a gearbox.....

Lorenzo rode superbly but MM rode a bit better, certainly bearing in mind it was his first attempt and he got disqualified at PI. Fair result I’d say.

Next year will be VERY interesting, those two boys are going to be really pushing it.

Same Bike

Pity they wont be on the same make of bike next season. I also think that Rossi for what ever reasons could have given Lorenzo a bit more support last season

Vale

spent all last season trying to get on the back of those three, he just needed that extra pace, but it was not to be.

Rossi couldn't manage the pace at Valencia even when Lorenzo was trying to back Marquez into the pack

Yes, that's right, that's why Jorge took off to win the race, so Vale can't help him, if he can't catch him, so it's going to be more or less the same story next year.

I think Rossi will be closer to the front next year.  He clearly wasn't 100% comfortable with the bike, but over the winter he will be able to have some development input and get the bike more to his liking. When he tested the 2014 bike earlier in the year, it was noted that he liked it, while JL didn't so much, so perhaps the 2014 bike is suited more to Rossi's style.

Yammy effed up employing Rossi again

And now for a second year Lorenzo is to take the battle to honda on his lonesome. When Rossi decides to call it a day after the 6 race rule he's set himself Yammy need to give the full works kit to either Pol or Brad, the last thing Lorenzo needs is Rossi riding round in self preservation mode again.

Here's a thought for some, after 1 full year of Rossi developing the M1 to his liking, Brad was given the bike for 1 day and he took it round Valencia half a second faster than Rossi managed to do in 3 days of racing and 2 days of testing.
