Marquez v Lorenzo - To The Wire

It's the closest MotoGP title fight since 2006 when Rossi lost out to Hayden at Valencia in a dramatic last-race showdown. Jorge is riding at the very top of his game, and Marc is typically flat out, but who is your money on for the 2013 title?

Closer but still a big hill

Marquez merely has to finish no worse than forth to get the world championship. Anything can happen in racing but it's a very steep hill for Lorenzo to climb to get the championship.

seem to remember 2006 having a few more exciting races to the last lap. This year has been alot better than the last 3 but still boring in comparison to the 990s

That's a heavy gage wire

It would really only be down to the wire if Jorge were behind by only 4 points.  What are the chances of Marquez finishing 5th or 6th?  Rossi or Pedro would have to punt him off track, something they both know how to do.

Rossi safes best for last?

i hope so...... maybe pull some nice hard moves on him pushing him off track. Pedro would do very well putting hi's rcv like mm was putting his rcv on him. make a nice move like jerez or maybe some rider like bau can do a wilairot on him. Rossi to make a LS on him. lots of rider who could make a nice move on mm. dani has to do all he can for the last race, and i mean ALLLLLLLL he can to finish infront of mm, for confidence for next year. and for letting mm know that he can ride as hard as mm. taking back those 25 point. if dani can do that im a new fan of him.

Lorenzo will pull it off I just think he will have more in the tank to see off Marquez.

I'd like to see Marquez take the championship, he has provided a good show this year and proper upset the applecart ! Okay, some of his moves have been perhaps questionable, but he wants to win and is still young enough to have very little fear. He has certainly got the attention of the top dogs, who must see him as a threat. Let's face it,  Moto GP is far more entertaining than F1, which is possibly the most boring sport on TV.

Whoever wins, it should be a cracker of a race. Can't wait!!!!!

Lorenzo should win the race and Marquez coast ( for him) to 4th, on orders,..........................Bollocks, Marquez is a racer and he is going to " win it or bin it"  just like every race he has ever been in , and thats why we will all be glued to the TV ,        give him a couple of years and yes he will push for a podium and listen to his team, possible even help Pedrosa get to the front, but he is just not there yet, he is burning with talent and walking on water with his self confidence, you just pity his team manager!
