Have to agree with you jewels.  And why not pick Joey Dunlop if they wanted a TT legend?  And he won a couple of World Titles too..  Very odd choice in my opinion.

Odd choice?? What's he done??

You people are leaving comments as if there were some sort of racing achievement greater than winning at the Isle of Man TT.

He has won

20 T T races and got 41 podiums in 14 years. What have you accomplished? Joey Dunlop should also be credited you are right as he also won the T T 26 times and got 40 podiums in 23 years. Legends both and deserving of all praise that is given.

Congrats John!

Definitely deserves it in my opinion! 20 TT wins is an incredible feat! I agree that Joey should have a place in the hall of fame as well, doesn't mean that John's achievements aren't worthy though.

Good One

Not sure I always like or appreciate all of Johns sometimes very crude and inappropriate comments but you cannot take away his TT and road racing achievements.

As a spectator of the TT you never fully appreciate just how fast he is until you see him fly past for real and then you see all the others who appear to be going backwards in comparison.

Give credit where it is due. Well done JM.
