Ronald Ten Kate quotes that in 2012 they used 12 engines between both riders.

Typically, we would put in a refreshed engine on a Saturday night before the two Sunday races and use the same engine for the next round's practice and qualifying sessions. However, we could get an engine to last two complete rounds if pushed, before the performance drop starts to be significant
