Goldie's gone...

A couple of lads came up from Manchester and took her away :upset: Mind you, they gave me some money which will go towards my 'next bike' fund :smile

I covered

22,000 miles on that bike and she ran faultlessly. Not sure what to get next, but Goldie will be a hard act to follow :smile

I'm totally open minded and would consider anything. I might be tempted by an older bike, although someone told me recently it usually turns out to be a disappointment if you've come from a newer bike...

depends on what old bike you get. obviously if you try to compare on old gsxr to goldie then you may be disapointed? , ( handling, power, brakes etc).good luck in your search theres a lot of choice out there.

You're spot on, I just fancied a change. Had the bike for nearly 4 years without any problems and could easily have kept it for another 4 years.

I suppose it's time for something else - I just hope I don't regret it!!

There's too much choice out there! I'll need to do something soon though, springtime is coming and I don't want to be without a bike
