Why no Moto Guzzis? They're as 'alternative' as you can get, and are 'twin' and 'air-cooled' too.

As a Guzzi owner I think there should definitely be a Guzzi on this list, more stylish and characterful than the Beemer and the 1200 engine bikes are a lot quicker/more powerful than the Harley. Also I don't think I've ever seen a Yamaha Bulldog on the road!
