Land Rovers ,my ace mechanic ( been fixing n servicing my cars for 25 yrs ) is a BMW and Land Rover specialist and he does not rate em one bit ( no not BMs ) his mate wouldnt listen to him and baught a brand spanking Evoke , broke down within 3 months .Every week he gets calls from Land rover and Range rover owners wanting repairs done ( nice earner for him mind ) my neighbour has an Evoke and the gearbox jammed leaving his wife bloking the road one afternoon ,a good friend had a new rewire on his for some stupid problem aswell. CRAP !

at least the camper van had a reason to be s****.A very long way from the stick to the rear gear box.I found it was the 'silencer' that was the main failing on mine...it used to drop off or blow through every 6 months.:smile

Range Rover

Sperbol, disagree.
Have to say i have had very few problems with my R/Rs for years. No more and certainly less than some of the other supposedly top marques cars i run along side of it.
Having had many Land Cruisers, Patrols etc my preference will always be Range Rover.
In fact i have ordered a new one to replace my 2011 Autobiography.:smile
Go to ANY top line car workshop and you will see late model cars in for ''repair''.
